In 2017, Lindsey partnered with Borrowing Magnolia to redesign the UX and visual design of their online presence. As an e-commerce platform for wedding dress rentals – it was essential for them to stand out from other competitors as a relevant option for the modern bride.
In collaboration with their marketing team, I spent time analyzing the target audience, studying competitors and creating mood boards based on that research. Their team created a road map of low-fi wireframes reflecting functionality must-haves.
I translated these into visual design for all primary site pages and interaction states and directed a junior designer on creation of an icon kit and mobile designs.
The outcome was a fully interactive InVision prototype of all desktop and all mobile screens which integrated new brand photography with the proposed digital brand accents.
